WHUREN started its operation
in 2005 after it was officially granted license
by His Majesty’s Government of Nepal in
2005. The agency is the outcome of favourable
policy and regulatory regime that came into effect
in 1985 following the formulation of Nepal Foreign
Employment Act.
WHUREN’s areas of operation
include both Asian emerging economies as well
as Europe and North America. In its initial phase
of operation, the agency will be focusing on serving
the following key markets in Asia and the Pacific:
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain,
Iran, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brunei,
South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
WHUREN has adopted a four tier
approach as part of its service strategy. Tier
1 includes recruitment and supply of semi-skilled
human resources like construction workers , labourers,
janitors, ushers, night watchmen and security
guards, etc. Tier two includes semi-skilled workers
in the category of carpenters, seamsters/ tailors,
drivers, forklift operators, construction supervisors,
nurses, salespersons, etc. Tier three includes
highly skilled human resources like doctors, engineers,
nurses, accountants, computer professionals, etc.
The agency maintains a resource pool of at least
500 prospective candidates at any time for immediate
deployment.
